SUMMARY OF ROLE The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives. This role involves leading project teams, managing resources, and ensuring seamless communication with all stakeholders. The Project Engineer plays a critical role in driving project success and contributing to the bank's strategic initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.
Oversee project execution from initiation to closure, ensuring that all deliverables meet quality and performance standards.
Coordinate resources across departments and manage external vendors to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Conduct regular project reviews, track milestones, and adjust plans as necessary to mitigate risks and address issues.
Lead and supervise on technical evaluation through RFQ and RFP bidding and evaluate up to PO
Lead and supervise the design team from scratch to final approved drawing
Risk and Quality Management:
Identify and manage project risks, developing contingency plans to ensure minimal disruption to project timelines.
Ensure that all project documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by incorporating lessons learned into future projects
Stakeholder and Communication Management:
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across project teams and with external partners.
Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and key decisions.
Financial and Resource Management:
Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
Process Innovation, Automation & Digitalization:
Drive continuous process improvement through innovative, automated, and digital solutions once required
Business Control & Governance
Ensure adherence to the bank's policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards in all operational activities.

Continually update oneself through knowledge acquisition, on-the-job training, or project involvement; advocate and support others to do the same.
