Branch Manager - Muscat

SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Branch Manager oversees the overall operations, staff, and sales goals of Ahli Bank’s branch. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving the branch’s performance to meet financial objectives. The Branch Manager is responsible for maintaining a productive work environment, leading a team of tellers and personal bankers, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, the role focuses on building strong customer relationships, promoting bank products, and contributing to the bank’s growth strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Branch Operations Management:
Oversee all branch activities, including transaction processing, account services, and customer interactions, ensuring operational efficiency. Moreover, ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including KYC/AML standards and audit controls.

Staff Management & Development:
Train, and manage branch staff, including Tellers, Personal Bankers, and other team members. Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to employees to foster growth and maintain high-performance standards and Address staffing issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure a positive team culture.

Customer Service & Relationship Management:
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by managing customer service initiatives and resolving any escalated customer issues. Moreover, build and maintain relationships with high-value clients, providing tailored banking solutions and fostering long-term loyalty. Act as a representative of the bank in the community, engaging with local businesses and promoting the bank’s presence.

Sales & Business Development:
Drive the branch’s financial performance by setting and achieving sales targets for products such as personal loans, mortgages, and savings accounts and Lead sales initiatives by actively promoting Ahli Bank’s products and services and identifying opportunities for cross-selling. Monitor the branch’s financial performance, including profitability, and take corrective actions when necessary to meet business objectives.

Risk & Security Management:
Ensure that the branch adheres to security protocols, safeguarding the bank’s assets and preventing fraud. Regularly assess and mitigate operational risks within the branch. Ensure accurate reporting, auditing, and documentation in compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

Strategic Planning & Reporting:
Develop and execute branch-specific strategies to grow the business, increase market share, and enhance customer service. Prepare regular reports for upper management on branch performance, customer feedback, and business growth. Moreover, to stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and economic factors affecting the branch.

Candidate Specifications
• Bachelor Degree.
• 9 years of working experience with 3 – 4 years’ experience as Branch Manager.
